Today we head out of Belfast along the River Lagan and pick up the Lagan and Lough Cycle Way, County Antrim, as featured most recently in The Times “Cycling with a View: 20 beautiful weekend rides in the UK”
Our cycle today is described as an easy, scenic one; on completely traffic free cycle routes with a picturesque pit stop at the recently restored, riverside Lock Keeper’s Cottage on the River Lagan.
Lunch is in Belfast’s dockland area at The Coffee Dock, before we head out alongside the Belfast Lough, a large sea lake at the North of the River Lagan. The Belfast Lough Nature Reserve is an important feeding area for a large range of wildfowl.
The day ends in Belfast, back at Bed & Bike’s HQ where your bikes are easily returned.
After freshening up back at Jury’s we enjoy a celebratory dinner together, before you decide where to night cap in town that evening!
